3 Hole Punch from Side

Modern Mechanix marks the debut of the 3 hole punch to 1940 via an old ad, but I noticed Wikipedia says the first patent was in 1866 by a German inventor/entrpreneur named Friedrich_Soennecken . So people have been getting all efficient for over a century.

Status: This is also tricky. It’s not that I’m sentimentally attached, but there is that sense that something so utilitarian should be kept.
Perhaps a project involving lots of punched holes is in the future.
